AIPL Group was awarded the title of Most Impactful 30 Power Brands 2019 at a glittering ceremony at The Novotel, Mumbai. The event also saw two mega book launches!! The big one was the launch of the young 18 year old author Che Kabir Chaudhuri’s book DISCOVER THE SUPERHERO IN YOU published by Times Group Books. The other book was a coffee table book- Bollywood Power Brands authored by Rajita Chaudhuri and Dr. Arindam Chaudhuri that was launched by the Rock Star Guru Randhawa. The event was presided over by Chief Guest, none other than Miss Universe Sushmita Sen. Guest of honor was the gorgeous Diva Malaika Arora. The event was conducted in association with Times Now, Bright Outdoors and Ravish Kapoor Innovative Invitations.
The evening witnessed the salutation of Indian brands, inspirational leaders and the next generation entrepreneurs, who have shaped and continue to shape the contours of branding across the globe. The Power Brand winners were awarded in two main categories; ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Most Impactful Power Brands’.

The event also witnessed the launch of the third edition of Power Brands-Bollywood Film Journalist’s Awards, organized by Planman Motion Pictures and Daily Indian Media. Virtually all the winners from all categories who were present in Mumbai turned up at this glittering night of honesty and transparency.
Padmavat took home 16 roaring lions. Badhai Ho took away 7 roaring lions including the Best Film. Andhadhun and Tummbad won 6 roaring lions each and Sriram Raghavan won the Best Director award for Andhadhun.
Manoj Kumar gets Lifetime Achievement, Sanjay Khan awarded for his Biography while Padmavat, Badhai Ho, Andhadhun and Tumbbad take home maximum roaring lions.
Sanjay Khan was there in full force with his family- Zarine, Suzanne, Farah, Zayed and Simone. So was the lifetime award winner, Manoj Kumar, who spoke with full gusto and said being in a wheel chair he is hardly a power brand anymore. Malaika Arora also got the special Power Brand Fashion Icon award. From Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Shriram Raghavan, Gajaraj Rao, Ronit Roy to Shefali Shah, Neeraj Kavi, Nushrat Bharucha, Farah Khan, Ali Fazal, Amit Trivedi and Amit Sharma all the winners praised the fairness of the awards and the thanked the journalists who voted for them. Sushmita, Malaika, Nushrat and Manjari Fadnis dazzled the red carpet.
In its 13th year now, Power Brands is a mega celebration of achievement, highlighting the success of Indian brands. Planman Group’s Motion Pictures arm has produced 3 National Award Winning Films including Do Dooni Chaar and The Last Lear.
