I miss the warmth of my country when I’m working in Hollywood: Nimrat Kaur

Talented actress Nimrat Kaur visited the BIG FM studio today to promote the upcoming season of Homeland, a popular American TV series. The actress who played the role of Tasneem Qureshi, an ISI officer in the fourth season of the award-winning show, is back with a bang for its eighth and last season. The actress, who has given stellar performances in movies like Airlift and The Lunchbox, expressed her excitement working on the last season of the series and talked about the differences between Bollywood and Hollywood.

Commenting on the differences while working in Hollywood and Bollywood movies, she said, “It’s very different. There is a difference in the culture as well as in the environment. What we are as Indians, reflects in our work culture. The discipline, deadlines and the way people work there is more organized whereas on the other side I miss the warmth of my country. One gets to experience different things in both the cultures.”
